JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon has asked Congress to ban Bitcoin and the American Bankers Association has drafted anti-crypto legislation for US Senators.
I recommend not giving your money to people who want to ban Bitcoin.
96% of banks are members of the ABA, so it's difficult to avoid it entirely, but we should at least divest from JP Morgan Chase. Personally, I moved to SoFi banking (which offered Bitcoin trading until recently) and asked my brokerage to sell JPM.
If all 16% of Americans who own Bitcoin did this, banks would surely change their tune.
